  • Only the 2nd game of the season...

Every team has its "down" game...

Never expected the Chargers to go 16-0...

The Patriots were especially motivated because of "Spy-gate"...

Wait until Randy Moss has his first sub-5 catch & sub-100 yard day and then see what he says about Brady...

All the above are things I'm telling myself to try to cope with last night's disastrous and humbling defeat.  But, it's hard to comfort yourself when your team was thoroughly dominated in a fashion that hasn't been seen since Mike Riley.  Probably would've felt just as bad if we lost by 3 points... But this... this is a cause for worry... 24 point difference... outgained 401 yards to 201... this team may not be as good as it was billed to be.

It just goes to show that every time we have high hopes, the Chargers always find a way to bring it all crashing down... From the high-flying Air Coryell teams to the present "deepest-most-talented-roster-in-the-NFL" squad... heartbreak's been the common theme for the Charger fan.

We'll see what happens in Green Bay this coming Sunday... if it's just more fo what we saw yesterday, strap on your seat belts for another ride on the Letdown train... and I think I'll be come a Colts fan.

But in the end, it'll be same as always... the Chargers will be my team... win or lose... there is still hope... we still have LT... Rivers isn't Leaf... and Turner... well... you better get this team winning...
